INFLUENCE OF LABOUR WELFARE MEASURES ON EMPLOYEES JOB SATISFACTION OF HANDLOOM WORKERS IN INDIA
Abstract
Employee satisfaction ensures employees are happy with their jobs and also give their heart and soul to the organization. Such people seldom think of changing their jobs and motivate not only themselves but also others to work hard for the betterment of the organization. The purpose of this study is to determine there is a significantrelationship between welfare measures and job satisfaction in an organization.A review of the literaturerevealed there is limited research that examined organizational effectiveness amongthe employees. A welfare measure has been identified as a leading factorimpacting an employee’s job satisfaction in various organizations. This study conducted in handloom workers in Virudhunagar District. The sample for this study included 187 employees. This study used a descriptive research design. The data wereanalyzed using the techniques are descriptive statistics, chi-square test, multiple comparison test and correlation. The findings of this studyrevealed a significant relationship between welfare measures and job satisfaction of employees in an organization.
