Abstract

English has emerged as a global language. The entire spectrum of education, philosophy, science and 
technology can easily be understood by means of English. English language has the power to empower 
people all around the world. English remains as a medium of instruction in schools, colleges and 
universities. Thus it plays a vital role in the field of education. This paper focus on how students at 
primary level can improve their pronunciation skill with the help of homophones through activity 
based learning.
