Abstract

Purpose: This study looks at the impact of small newspaper consumption on academic achievement, critical thinking abilities, and awareness of current events among university students. The major goal is to see if reading tiny newspapers has a significant beneficial influence on these dimensions in a sample of 500 university students in Allahabad District.

Design/Methodology/Approach: This study used a quantitative research technique and a sample of 500 university students from the Allahabad District. Participants are polled on their consumption of tiny newspapers, academic performance, critical thinking abilities, and understanding of current events. To identify patterns and correlations between data, statistical procedures such as regression models and hypothesis testing are used.

Findings: The findings of the study provide insight into the correlations between small newspaper consumption and academic achievement, critical thinking abilities, and current event knowledge among university students. Positive findings may imply that tiny newspapers can play an important role in improving educational results and cognitive capacities, impacting future educational practises and media initiatives.

Originality/Value: This study adds to the existing literature by investigating the particular impact of tiny newspaper consumption on university students' academic performance, critical thinking, and current event knowledge.
