PHILOSOPHY OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION AND FUTURE STRATEGIC REQUIREMENTS (GOALS AND SKILLS)
Abstract
The research problem arises by asking the following questions:
- What is the philosophy of university education in Iraq and its strategic vision for future requirements in the areas of “goals and skills”
- What future requirements in the areas of "educational goals and skills" are imposed by the technical and cognitive revolution on university education systems?
- What problems do Iraqi university education suffer in achieving future requirements in “educational goals and skills?”
- What is the proposed vision for achieving Iraq’s Vision 2030 in “Educational Objectives and Skills?”
The research achieved Iraq's Vision 2030 after realizing the most important principles and values contained in the strategy of the Ministry of Education, including the aspiration for an educational system committed to values, provides sustainable, innovative, and high-quality learning opportunities for all, promotes knowledge society building and conforms to global standards while ensuring quality education for all, and ensuring levels of high-quality public education that meets the needs of the labor market) technical and vocational education and training.
Develop a high-quality educational system that encourages broad participation through various efficient and effective educational pathways, ensuring the provision of technical and vocational education and training for excellence in teaching, learning, scientific research, and community services that will achieve a comprehensive renaissance.
