Abstract

The research deals with the issue of terrorism and combating it, and it is one of the topics that preoccupied jurists of international and national law because of the great danger it causes to all segments of society and the violation of security and sanctities, desecration of sanctities, kidnapping and killing of innocents, and thus threatens the security and stability of the state, because the phenomenon of terrorism was born with the emergence of societies Humanity has developed, taking advantage of scientific development to activate the methods and means of carrying out terrorist operations, and then the geographical area has expanded to include the entire world. Therefore, the United Nations has sought to provide international support to countries that are exposed to terrorism by concluding agreements and treaties and abiding by them to enable the international community to take the necessary means and measures by countries to combat terrorism.
